SSAT Math

Two 25-question Quantitative sections (30 minutes each). The math is mostly grade-level — speed and accuracy matter more than advanced tricks.

  • Arithmetic & Number Sense

    Fractions, decimals, percents, ratios, sequences, and order of operations. Roughly 30–40% of the Quantitative sections.

  • Algebra

    Solving 1- and 2-step equations, simple word problems, exponents, inequalities, and basic functions.

  • Geometry & Measurement

    Angles, triangles, area and perimeter, circles, coordinate plane, and simple 3D solids.

  • Data, Statistics & Probability

    Reading charts, averages (mean/median/mode), and basic probability and counting.
